COVID-19 UPDATED RESPONSE
May 4, 2020
To our residents, resident families and employees,
The safety, health and wellness of our residents and employees remains our highest priority. We continue to be in close contact with local, state and federal health authorities following their guidance, mandates and reporting requirements. Communication is very important to us. We understand this is an extremely difficult time for families who are separated from their loved ones due to visitation protocols. We have made many modifications to our daily procedures to mitigate the spread of Covid-19.
1.) Visitation Protocol:
All visitors are asked to please wash your hands prior to entering our community. Please use the 20 second hand washing protocol according to the state guidelines.
-Extra sanitizing stations have been made available throughout the facility.
-At this time visiting is limited to medical and family only, if necessary.
-The safety and wellness of our residents and employees will remain our top priority.
2.) Cleaning Protocol:
One of the most important ways to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus is thorough and frequent cleaning of surfaces. We have implemented enhanced housekeeping procedures to ensure a clean and sanitized environment. High touch areas like light switches, doorknobs and call bells are sanitized multiple times per day by several team members.
We strongly advise our residents to practice social distancing by staying 6 feet apart from other individuals at all times.
Thank you for your patience and understanding,
Sincerely,
Siobhan Doherty
